Whatever you need most that day. That might be hands-on newborn care while you shower and eat a real meal, help establishing a feeding routine, emotional support while you process a hard night, light household tasks, or just having someone experienced in your corner who can answer your questions without Googling. Every visit looks a little different because every day postpartum looks a little different.
Before your baby arrives. Seriously. The postpartum period is not the time to be researching and making decisions, you'll be exhausted, overwhelmed, and recovering. Book your support in your second trimester so it's in place the moment you need it.
Typically 3-5 hours, but we'll build a plan that fits your schedule and needs during your consultation. If you're considering longer, full days, consider checking out the Postpartum Immersion program.
Not at all. Second and third-time moms often need just as much support, sometimes more, because now you have other kids to manage on top of a newborn. There's no such thing as being "too experienced" to need help.
I provide hands-on breastfeeding support like positioning, latch help, feeding cues, and general guidance to build your confidence. I'm not a lactation consultant, but I can help you troubleshoot day-to-day and refer you to the right professional if needed.
I serve Durham Region and the GTA E. That includes Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Port Perry, Courtice, Bowmanville, and surrounding areas.
If you're growing a human and wondering how you're going to manage the other side of birth, it's right for you. You don't need to be struggling or have a specific problem. You're allowed to want support simply because having a baby is hard and you deserve to feel held through it.

Sarah is reliable and friendly. She was patient with our new parent questions and helped us build a routine for feeding, cleaning, and sleeping. Our day-to-day with baby would have looked very different without her support.
We worked with Sarah Rioux for three months after our second child was born. She was organized, punctual and most importantly caring with our kids. We trusted Sarah immediately and would highly recommend her services!
Sarah Rioux was an amazing help with our premie newborn. Her care and professionalism during a stressful time were invaluable to us and to baby Finn.

Do you have someone special in your life who is expecting? Give them the gift of support!
